- Patent lawsuits
- I have been an expert witness on both sides of such lawsuits. In one case, we invalidated the plaintiff’s patent due to prior art that was not revealed at the time of its filing. In another case we proved the defendant’s work was a violation of the plaintiff’s patent.
- Insurance cases
- Large recoveries, especially cyber recoveries, can be very expensive. I have helped litigants uncover the validity (or invalidity) of insurance claims in such cases.
- Class action lawsuits
- Another common lawsuit these days is due to breaches of customer data. I can testify as to whether the defendant is purely the victim of a bad circumstance, or they were attacked because they failed to take normal and proper caution.
